KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company (KBSV), in collaboration with Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), recently held a ceremony to award the "Nurturing Young Scientists" scholarships. These scholarships, totaling 1 billion VND, were granted to 40 outstanding students who excelled in academics, scientific research, and social activities during the 2023-2024 academic year.

Accordingly, 40 scholarships were presented to outstanding students from the University of Natural Sciences, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Economics, International School, and the School of Business Administration under Vietnam National University, Hanoi. These students were rigorously selected based on academic performance, scientific research, and social contributions, with special consideration for those from disadvantaged backgrounds who have shown determination and resilience.
At the ceremony, Mr. Jeon Mun Cheol, CEO of KBSV, stated: "This marks the second year of the 'Nurturing Young Scientists KBSV - VNU' scholarship. Through this initiative, KBSV seeks to highlight the strategic partnership between our organizations and express our pride in supporting students in their academic and scientific endeavors. We aim to help them achieve significant scientific breakthroughs with practical applications, thereby enhancing the quality of life and contributing to a better world”.

Sharing at the event, VNU Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, highly appreciated the humanitarian value of the "Nurturing Young Scientists" scholarship program implemented by KBSV. He noted that this program serves as both a reward and timely encouragement and support for VNU students, helping them to better their studies, research, and personal development. It provides a chance for students to connect with each other, become companions, and develop together not only in academic pursuits but also in contributing to society.

All students have flexible plans to use the scholarships for supplementary courses, promising outstanding achievements
The "Nurturing Young Scientists" scholarship was initiated by KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the VNU Development Fund in October 2022, with a total value of 4.2 billion VND over four years. Besides awarding scholarships, KBSV and VNU plan to implement various activities to leverage their strengths, such as investment knowledge seminars, financial management workshops, investment competitions, content creation contests, and joint recruitment of personnel and interns.
