On the evening of October 3, 2024, KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company (KBSV) made a remarkable mark by being honored for the third consecutive time in the “Asia Corporate Excellence Award” category at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2024 (APEA 2024).

Having been held for 17 years, APEA is known as a prestigious award system that attracts participation from numerous renowned enterprises across 16 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. With the theme "Celebrating Inclusive Entrepreneurship," this year's awards recognize pioneering businesses and entrepreneurs in promoting equal business opportunities, building a diverse economy, and developing sustainably while harmonizing economic, social, and environmental goals. It is evident that KBSV’s presence at the APEA for three consecutive years underscores its long-term commitment to growing alongside Vietnam.
The ability to respond swiftly and adapt flexibly to the volatile and challenging Vietnamese financial market in recent years has helped KBSV maintain steady business growth. In 2023, KBSV's net revenue and after-tax profit increased by 14.2% and 34% respectively compared to 2022, with its brokerage market share consistently ranking among the top 10 across several quarters. These achievements are a testament to the decisive strategy of the management and the solidarity of an outstanding workforce.

In recent years, to keep pace with the digital era, KB Securities Vietnam's financial investment ecosystem "Buddy" has successively launched a series of major products, such as the “KB Buddy Pro” trading platform, equipped with a full set of superior trading tools and features, and the “KB Buddy WTS” new-generation price board, integrating standout features to meet investors' needs. Additionally, KBSV has designed a range of products and promotional programs tailored for different customer segments, ensuring suitability for both new and experienced investors.

It is known that the criteria for evaluating APEA awards are very stringent, balancing business factors with sustainable development. Therefore, winning this award for three consecutive years demonstrates KBSV's significant interest and investment in developing business alongside social, environmental, and governance factors. These are the three components of the ESG standards that the company has been implementing since 2022 to standardize its sustainable development activities. Accordingly, KBSV has continuously carried out long-term scholarship programs, facilitating university students' experiences and internships; launched the “Rainbow Class” project to improve facilities for many underprivileged schools in remote areas; and visited and gifted children undergoing treatment in hospitals, among others.
Moreover, there are various environmental initiatives, including the “Green Contribution Vietnam” program—an annual campaign that has planted thousands of trees in national forests; the “Earth Green Contribution – Reducing Plastic Bags” initiative, distributing hundreds of eco-friendly bags to tourists and residents in Quang Ninh; and the “House Cleaning for Trees” program within KBSV’s community—helping reduce 16.05 tons of CO2 and save 84,520 m3 of water. Meeting 130 sustainable development indicators across four areas—Governance; Environment; and Labor-Social, KB Securities Vietnam was also honored to be in the Top 100 of the CSI 2023 awards in its first application.
