Yen Thuy, on October 26, 2022, at Lac Sy Primary and Secondary School, KB Securities officially inaugurated classrooms, libraries, computer rooms, and foreign language classrooms within the framework of the Rainbow class project after five months of active construction and repair. After the inauguration, the school can continue to teach nearly 500 highland students and receive about 43 teachers.
The Rainbow Classroom project of KB Securities is combined with World Vision Korea and World Vision Vietnam, aiming to invest in education, finding areas that need help to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Lac Sy is a plight school in the underdeveloped mountainous area of Yen Thuy, Hoa Binh. There are many ethnic minorities living here with a poverty rate up to 43%, much higher than the overall poverty rate of Yen Thuy commune. It means that children's conditions and quality of learning are harsh.

From May 2022, KB Securities has invested VND 2.6 billion to improve, build and install new school facilities. Accordingly, KB Securities has made several regular classrooms, a library with about 2000 valuable books, a computer room, and a foreign language classroom. In addition, the related sanitation facilities in the school were also completely renovated. KB Securities wishes to provide the best learning and development environment for poor children in the highlands, shortening the gap with big cities where education quality is better.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Kim SungHyun - General Director of KB Securities Company, Mr. Park Chunsoo - Chairman of the Board of Directors of KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Mr. Jeon MunCheol - Acting CEO of KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Mr. Choi YunSun – CFO of KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company and representatives from KB Securities Korea, Vietnam. On the side of Lac Sy school and Hoa Binh provincial government, the Principal, teachers, and local officials also attended and highly appreciated the school project that has just been completed.
