As a "dynamic" index system, CSI continuously updates new content, trends, and important legal changes that Vietnamese businesses need to pay attention to and improve upon. KB Securities Vietnam considers the approach to ESG through the CSI indicators as a guiding principle for strategic planning and implementing the company's sustainable development activities. Overcoming nearly 500 competitors and meeting all the rigorous evaluation criteria, KBSV has become one of the "few" securities companies to be honored with this prestigious international award for the second consecutive time. This is also a testament to the long-term commitment in the journey of sustainable development, reflecting KB Securities Vietnam's responsibility towards the environment and society.

It is known that Vietnam is one of the countries most likely to be significantly affected by climate change, with estimated damages reaching around 368 billion USD by 2040 (according to the World Bank). In line with the desire to join hands with Vietnam in mitigating environmental climate change and building a green financial system, in 2024, KBSV sponsored and collaborated with the Vietnam Securities Business Association (VASB) and RSM Vietnam Auditing & Consulting Co., Ltd. to launch the ESG Score pilot project for the securities industry. This is a long-term project aimed at developing ESG indicators for listed companies in Vietnam.
In addition, KB Securities Vietnam continues to maintain its annual environmental and social contributions. Notably, the "Green Vietnam Contribution" campaign to green protective forests and special-use forests; awarding 40 scholarships worth 1 billion VND to 40 students from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology; supporting the internship day events at the National Economics University and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology...
Furthermore, KB Securities Vietnam was honored as an "Outstanding Enterprise" for the third consecutive time at the APEA 2024 awards, recognizing its efforts in promoting business opportunity equality, building a diverse economy, and fostering sustainable development while harmonizing economic, social, and environmental goals.

Mr. Choi Yunsun, Board Member of KB Securities Vietnam, shared at the ceremony: "We understand that green finance will open new opportunities and bring many benefits to businesses and the country in the future. KB Securities Vietnam not only aims to meet the basic CSI indicators but also seeks to enhance and professionalize ESG activities so that companies can improve compliance management, risk management, and protect core values. This will optimize operational efficiency to achieve strategic advantages, increase revenue, market share, and brand value. I hope that KBSV's presence here today will inspire the financial business community to pay more attention to sustainable indicators alongside business development — a core factor in building a solid foundation for sustainable and comprehensive growth, contributing to the prosperity of Vietnam."
Recognizing the importance of transparency for businesses in the financial sector, KB Securities Vietnam has established "Trust and Integrity" as one of its five core values. Accordingly, KBSV continuously works to upgrade its governance processes, review, and exercise caution in all business activities. Through good governance, the company has achieved many notable accomplishments. The CSI awards in recent years serve as both proof and motivation for KBSV to remain steadfast in this direction.
