KB Securities Vietnam (KBSV) recently planted 2,000 new precious wood trees in Ben En National Park. This is the closing event of KBSV's 2023 "Contribute to a Green Vietnam" campaign after nearly a month of launching. Within the framework of the campaign, the Company called on the community to join hands; hundreds of people responded and participated in a short period.

Not only stopping at simple afforestation activities, but KB Securities Vietnam also wants to call for cooperation from the community while raising awareness among young people about living green, preserving nature, and protecting the environment. Accordingly, along with the campaign, the community is encouraged to participate in the "Move for trees" challenge. Posting photos of exercise and sports on personal Facebook, with the hashtag #ChungkhoanKBVietnam #GopxanhVietNam", each participant will contribute more trees to the campaign. After four weeks since the start of the campaign, hundreds of people have responded to participate. KB Securities Vietnam planted 2,000 new trees in early October at VGQ Ben En.
Representatives of KB Securities Vietnam, Gaia, and Ben En National Park jointly planted the first ironwood tree.

Mr. Jeon Mun Cheol - General Director of KB Vietnam Securities Company, shared about the campaign: "Vietnam is currently facing many severe environmental problems such as deforestation, climate change, air pollution, loss of biodiversity... Faced with this problem, KB Vietnam Securities chose to join hands with the Government to solve it gradually. We will continue implementing many environmental projects, not only stopping at implementing activities, but KBSV promotes campaigns that can raise awareness for the wider community. When every person is aware of the importance of nature and the environment, we will go faster and efficiently reach the goal of a greener Vietnam!"

Mr. Jeon Mun Cheol - CEO of KBSV, was awarded a certificate for planting 2,000 trees at Ben En National Park.

According to experts, seedlings can take up to 5 years to mature and participate in retaining water and preventing erosion. Therefore, in addition to organizing tree planting activities, in this "Green Vietnam Contribution" campaign, KB Vietnam Securities coordinates with Gaia Nature Conservation Center to develop a care, monitoring, and supervision plan. Monitor periodically every year to ensure the best plant growth. The planted forest will continue growing, designing, and enhancing its ecological values.
KB Securities Vietnam will continue implementing the "Contribute for a green Vietnam" campaign for many years.

"With the increase in environmental pollution and forest degradation globally, afforestation has become an important method to protect and maintain ecosystems. We understand this is a long journey, and we are very grateful for KB Securities Vietnam's responsibility and dedicated companionship. We hope that KBSV will continue to maintain and expand environmental protection activities, joining hands to build a sustainable and greener future for Vietnam." Mr. Le Cong Cuong, a Ben En National Park Representative, said.

Through "Contribute for a Green Vietnam", KB Securities Vietnam has sent the Vietnamese community a message about the importance of protecting and preserving nature and watershed forests. KBSV once again affirmed its dedication to the long-term vision of a financial enterprise for sustainable development activities.
