In the first days of vibrant summer, Vietnam National University Hanoi (VNU) has become the focus of attention with a series of inspiring events co-organized with KB Securities Vietnam (KBSV). Not only awarding the "Young Scientist Incubation 2025" scholarship worth 1 billion VND, KBSV also brought a creative and practical financial space to Gen Z through the workshop "Putting eggs in the right basket - Investing is a small matter".

Young Scientists Incubation – More than a Scholarship
2025 marks the third year in the 4-year journey of the “KBSV – VNU Young Scientists Incubation Scholarship”. To date, the program has awarded 120 scholarships worth 3 billion VND to outstanding students. Mr. Jeon Mun Cheol – General Director of KBSV, shared passionately at the event: "For KBSV, the “KBSV Young Scientists Incubation Scholarship” is not just a simple sponsorship activity, but it is a demonstration of our long-term vision and deep commitment to education and development of young human resources in Vietnam. We believe that investing in the young generation is investing in the future."
CEO- Mr. Jeon Mun Cheol, speaking at the event, affirmed KBSV's belief and commitment to accompany the journey of maturity of the young generation of Vietnam.
Representing the student receiving the scholarship, Ngo Minh Chau also emotionally shared that the KBSV scholarship will be a guiding light for her continuous efforts, helping her feel that she is not alone on the journey to adulthood. KBSV is like a relative accompanying Chau to give her more faith and motivation to continue nurturing her dreams, pursuing knowledge and perfecting herself every day.

Following the scholarship awarding event, KBSV organized a workshop providing investment knowledge "Putting eggs in the right basket - Investing is a small matter" and quickly attracted the student community from many different majors.

The program was hosted by Hoang Duc Trung – a former student of the University of Economics (UEB – VNU), currently a Prime Investment Consultant at KBSV. With a humorous and friendly way of sharing stories from his own experiences, Duc Trung helped students untangle the “knots” when they first entered the investment market.

“Anyone can start their investment journey, whether you are a student of engineering, social sciences, education or arts. Because investing is not reserved for a certain group of people – it is an essential skill that helps the younger generation build a stable, proactive and smarter financial future right from their university days. Investing is not a game of chance. When you have the knowledge, skills and know how to control your emotions, investing will be a tool to help you master your future.” – Duc Trung affirmed.
The highlight of the workshop is the “unboxing” of investment strategies that suit the psychology and style of Gen Z – flexible, quick but also need to be steadfast in the face of risks. This will be an indispensable skill and lifestyle for young people, when in the new era, besides working for a salary, you can earn extra income from interesting investment channels.
