KBSV employees participated in planting tree activities in "Contribute to a Green Vietnam 2025" campaign at Cuc Phuong national forest - Ninh Binh - Vietnam
This initiative is part of KBSV’s long-term ESG strategy, continuing the success of its forest restoration efforts in Ben En (Thanh Hoa) in 2023. Launched in 2023 with an initial 2,000 trees planted in Ben En, the “Greening Vietnam” campaign is a long-term commitment to restoring degraded forests across Vietnam. Each tree planted not only helps retain soil and water but also provides habitats for diverse forest species.

In early August, the journey continued at Cuc Phuong National Park—Vietnam’s first national park. Here, KBSV collaborated with Gaia Nature Conservation Center to plant 1,000 ebony and canarium trees. These species are known for their strong adaptability, rapid canopy growth, and resistance to pests, contributing to improved soil and water quality. Additionally, they serve as vital food sources and habitats for rare species such as the
Delacour's langur, flying squirrels, civets, and box turtles—species that rely on forest restoration for survival.

Later in 2025, KBSV will continue the initiative by planting 1,500 Melaleuca trees in Mua Xuan Forest (Can Tho), aiming to restore wetland ecosystems in the Mekong Delta, where approximately 5 hectares of degraded Melaleuca forest urgently require rehabilitation. This effort will help revive the native landscape and support local biodiversity.
More than 20 KBSV employees directly participated in planting activities, each gaining a deeper appreciation of nature through hands-on experience—witnessing roots taking hold and leaves reaching upward, and realizing that nature can only truly recover through timely human action.
Sharing at the Cuc Phuong event, Mr. Park Kang Hyun, CEO of KBSV, stated:

Each tree planted today is not only an act for nature, but also a testament to our social responsibility and our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.”

Looking ahead, KBSV will continue integrating ESG principles into all aspects of its operations—from business strategy to daily activities. Green initiatives will be further expanded, including forest development projects, paperless programs, sustainable community investments, and ongoing environmental campaigns.
